Okay.
This is a little bit long-winded but it'll do.
You can use this for whatever homestuck fanfic you want or - hell - even in an rp if you can give enough shits to

Each character in Placestuck starts with a STRIFE ENGINE. Humans start with the REAL-TIME ENGINE, trolls with the PARSER-BASE ENGINE (Think final fantasy/pokemon/wwatevver) because they are weird.
Whoever initiates strife gets to choose the strife engine used in the battle. No-one can initiate strife against a god-tier except something as strong as one (so they can choose to fight or not).

The battling stats are:
Vitality Capacity: fancy word for health ey?
Muscle Capacity: same, just replace it with ATK if you want.
Mental Capacity: This one is a bit different. Mental Capacity increases the power of unique/combo attack, and also shows how many opponents the person/troll can handle at once.
Psychic Power: Determines the strength of whatever troll mind power it has. For humans, the equivalent is BADASSERY, which determines how they can put their talent to use in battle. Monsters do not have Psychic Power nor Badassery.
Will: Will determines the amount of moves a character can know at the same time, how quickly the moves (not level) on the Echeladder ascends, and how high-level an opponent someone can face. Common effects of not having enough will are 'You are not high-level enough on your echeladder to do ______!' and 'No. You are not suicidal.'
Speed: DO I REALLY HAVE TO EXPLAIN THIS ONE?

Attack Parser: The higher speed a character has, the more of these it takes. Different moves take up more Attack Parsers. If a technique takes up more Attack Parsers then the character has per turn they need to charge up.

Fraymotifs!
To use a FRAYMOTIF, you need to have one assigned to your strife specibus (you can have as many as you want, but only one assigned at once - you can switch them when not in battle), and you have to charge it (duh). Normally, the fraymotif is tied to the character's special skills or type (For example, Charm (Page of Flare) would have a fire fraymotif).

There. Explained. Go home now.
Just because.
